作为索尼克诞生30周年纪念的系列产品之一， 游戏公司世嘉宣布与硬件厂商雷蛇合作推出Xbox授权的索尼克主题手柄。
新款索尼克手柄前后都有索尼克系列游戏的标志性设计，在LT和RT两个键位上也保留了Xbox手柄特有的震动效果， 另外，这款手柄支持3小时快速充电功能。
价格方面，索尼克Xbox手柄售价199.99美元（约合人民币1363元），现在已在雷蛇官方网站、亚马逊等渠道开售。
此前，微软也推出过索尼克定制版Xbox手柄， 分为“索尼克蓝”和“纳克鲁斯红”版本，另外它们采用了毛茸茸的外观。 不过这款手柄不能直接进行购买，玩家只能通过抽奖来获得。
