Attachment Handling Moves Forward
Paperless office has become common that we can probably say that this is the standard nowadays. Some of us appreciate the great efficiency it brought, others are happy with the positive implications on environment. But even when you don’t print hard copies, photo copy documents, or keep endless shelves with ring binders and folders … you still manage files of various formats, and bind them together, and… as oppose to hard copied documents, assigning unique file names is crucial.
To align with the naming convention used in your business, to allow more flexibility and reduce potential errors SAP business One introduces the following setting:
When selected, you can upload an attachment file with the same name as an existing file without overwriting the existing file. SAP Business One generates a unique name for the new file by automatically adding a full timestamp to the file name:
