Project Overview

A single Keyhole consultant worked as the sole developer on the project building a .NET application from the ground up. The goal of this project was to create a custom application that connects to an MQTT Broker, receives data, and converts that anonymous data into a gRPC request to send through the appropriate gRPC client.

Technical Snapshot

The Keyhole consultant primarily used .NET 6 to complete this project. They also worked heavily with .NET Linux Docker to execute containerization. In addition to .NET and Docker, MQTT, gRPC, LiteDB, and TPL ActionBlocks for data buffering were used.

Beyond development, the consultant’s daily tasks also included dealing with changing security and redundancy and interfacing directly with business stakeholders to clarify expectations.

The project ended in success, and the client has since requested additional help with new endeavors from the Keyhole Team.
