目前，我国已经建成了全球规模最大光纤和移动宽带网络，这带来的效果也是很显著。

工信部信息通信发展司司长谢存19日表示，我国建成了全球规模最大的光纤和移动宽带网络，固定网络逐步实现从十兆到百兆、再到千兆的跃升，移动网络实现从“3G突破”到“4G同步”再到“5G引领”的跨越。

谢存是在19日工信部举行的“打通经济社会信息大动脉”主题新闻发布会上作出上述表述的。近10年来，我国信息通信业规模不断壮大，电信业务收入从2012年的1.08万亿元，增长到2021年的1.47万亿元，网民规模达10.32亿，比2012年增长了83%。

他说，近10年来，信息通信行业综合实力显著增强，信息基础设施跨越发展，城乡“数字鸿沟”大幅缩小，国家级互联网骨干直联点数量从3个增至19个，国际通信网络通达和服务能力持续增强，数据中心规模和能效水平大幅提升。
