i usually keep a phone until i cant stand it anymore. it has to give me grief for me to even consider upgrading. thus I will go several editions of said phone before upgrading. but then I have a hole in my linoleum, from when we bought the house, 20+ years ago...

lol, I have some old things like that I put up with. Since I tend to travel and take pix, I think about upgrading. I've debated a few times this year, but will pay this one off next month, so that has me considering the upgrade.

Got to have high quality memories!

that is indeed a reason i have upgraded. I'm just a bit slower. i try to use it until it doesn't serve me. Nexus 5 in 2013 Pixel 2 in 2017 Pixel 4 in 2019

that P4 is getting old.

I got this phone in 2020. Had an LG for about 2.5 years before, but had a warranty replacement in there.

I was thinking to wait, but I suspect I won't get a better deal to wait 6 or so months on these phones and some might sell out. 1/2

That has meant before that I either delay a lot longer until newer phones go on sale or I pay more for something.

I can get a new phone and actually save about $5-10/mo on the bill

I plan on updating phones this year and I'm considering changing carriers. Which carriers do you two use?

I was literally trying to buy three phones earlier this year. When I saw what personal data the carrier wanted and their breach history, I stopped.

and have for 6-7 years. Because I travel a lot and leave the country, it's the best for me.

My wife uses Verizon, which used to be the best service we'd see anywhere (kids were Sprint), but the last 4-6 months it's been shaky in places that it used to work.

we had Tmobile forever, but found it lacking many years ago, and switched to ATT. still have it.
