Intel酷睿产品线中，后缀不带K的型号功耗设计很保守，且出厂变没有超频属性，不适合折腾。
不过，“妖板王”华擎这次将不可能变成了可能，在一块B660M PG Riptide主板上，一位 中国硬件发烧友将酷睿i5-12400居然超出了5.479GHz的历史最高频率，成绩已经得到HWBOT认证。
这套平台采用的是AIO一体水冷散热，配合DDR5-5333内存条。
其实说到给12代酷睿非K处理器超频，华擎并非第一个，微星的B660也破解实现超BCLK频率，只是这都招致Intel不满，强调如此折腾可能会失去保修。
