7月21日，荣耀召开全场景新品发布会，正式推出荣耀平板8，它是一款主打K12教育以及影音娱乐场景、面向大众家庭用户推出的的高质价比平板电脑产品，首发价1399元起。
今天，荣耀平板8全新8GB版正式上架开售，配色为曙光蓝版本。另有薄荷绿版本，将于8月31日0点开售。
荣耀平板8采用薄至6.9mm一体化的金属轻薄机身，提供薄荷绿、曙光蓝、晨曦金三色。背面采用阳极氧化喷砂工艺，温润细腻，机身重量仅520g起，对比同代的iPad 2021（机身498g，厚度7.5mm），即使选用的更大的12英寸屏幕，机身的厚度控制却更为优秀。
荣耀平板8全新定制了12英寸护眼大屏，拥有2K分辨率、支持10.7亿色彩显示以及更宽的5:3屏幕比例 ，同时高达87%的屏占比和仅7.2mm的超窄边框带来“大屏幕小黑边”的视觉感受。
