分析师指出，本周迄今为止公布的全球经济数据大多数疲软，加剧了对经济衰退的担忧，并打压了对成品油的需求预期，导致油价承压。
此外，重新签署伊朗核协议的潜在可能性，使伊朗可能恢复向全球市场供应原油，引发了西德克萨斯中质原油和布伦特原油价格跌至数月新低。
美国汽油零售价格已经连续下跌至少63天，超过了2020年初防疫封锁限制经济活动时的连跌天数。上一次连跌更长时间是2018年。
