PostgreSQL 2022调查报告 – 开源派
Timescale 公司发布 2022 年 PostgreSQL 调查使用报告。调查问卷通过社交媒体, 邮件订阅（包括第三方）等渠道发布，统计收到来自全球各地 992 名开发者的回应，统计时间范围从2022 年 6 月 6 日到 6 月 30 日。来自 EMEA（欧洲、中东、非洲）的受访者约占所有受访者的一半，其次是北美，占 25.9%。
报告显示，PostgreSQL 使用越来越流行。尝试使用该数据库不到一年的 PostgreSQL 新用户数量已经从 2021 年的 6.1% 增长到了 2022 年的 6.4%。
19.3%用户选择 PostgreSQL 的理由是开源，其次16.5%的用户认为 PostgreSQL 可靠性有保障，以及可扩展（9.9%）。超过 3/4 的受访者表示将 PostgreSQL 用于个人项目，95% 的受访者在工作中使用 PostgreSQL ，74% 的受访者将 PostgreSQL 用于个人和专业项目。 大多数受访者 (76.2%) 表示技术文档是他们学习 PostgreSQL 的首选方式，其次是长篇博文 (51.5%) 和短篇博文 (43.3%)。使用工具连接 PostgreSQL 进行查询和管理任务占比前三：第一为psql (69.4%)、其次pgAdmin (35.3%) ，之后是 DBeaver (26.2%) 。
