「慶讚中元」的慶讚是什麼意思？

一年一度的中元節將至，處處可見「慶讚中元」這個節日用語。令人好奇，中元節到底要慶什麼？讚什麼呢？
爬文心得如下。
「慶贊中元」應是很早就有的說法，但正確寫法是「贊」而非「讚」。
中元節最早是初秋慶賀豐收、酬謝大地的節日，而七月十五是道教三官大帝之一的地官大帝誕辰，是「慶」的理由。
而「贊」指「贊普」，是贊助供養六道眾生齋食及法食的意思，即中元普渡活動。
由此可知，「慶贊中元」是有根據的正確說法，像是大甲鎮瀾宮(如下圖)、北港武德宮便是用慶贊二字。但現在現在看到的「慶讚中元」寫法似乎更多一些，有些宮廟也用慶讚。
以 Google 查詢結果筆數作為普遍指標，慶贊中元有 42,900 筆，慶讚中元則有 192,000 筆，超過四倍有餘，感覺已積非成是。
不過，我想不管是慶贊還是慶讚，誠心善念才是重點，有拜有保佑，人人都平安。
