20万块硬盘最新质量可靠性研究：8TB让人揪心
日前，云存储服务商Backblaze发布了最新一季度的机械硬盘可靠性报告。
今年二季度结束，BB共有219444块机械硬盘和固态硬盘，其中4020块启动盘（2558块SSD和1482块HDD），抛开这些启动盘不算，纳入可靠性考察的共计有215424块。
在二季度，年化故障率均值是1.46%，其中高于平均数的几块硬盘有希捷的4TB、8TB、10TB、12TB、东芝的16TB等。这里面最高的是希捷14TB，数字是5.64%，型号为ST14000NM0138。
时间跨度放宽到2013年4月，在这9年时间里，有一款来自HGST的8TB硬盘（HUH728080ALE604）出现了高达27.4%的年化故障率，最后平均后的数字是6.26%，也不算低。
接着不让人省心的是希捷14TB，9年来的年化故障率大约4.86%。
