Faster, more-focused daily stand-ups

My team of 14 have been using. Spinach for a few months now while it was in Beta! What a superb product, with a negligible learning curve!
@ketan_pandit1 Thank you so much for being part of our beta and providing early feedback!!

👋🏼 Hey Product Hunt I’m Matan, Co-founder and CEO of Spinach.io. We're on a mission to build healthier meeting habits, starting with Spinach for Daily Standup. We are officially out of beta and are so excited to launch Spinach today. Thanks to @mwseibel for hunting us!

Why Spinach? A great daily standup can save dev teams hours of confusion and misalignment. But the problem is that most standups we’ve attended and observed aren’t that great. People aren’t always prepared, it’s hard to stay engaged, one person does all the talking, people tune out, random topics drain the clock, and there’s no record of daily progress. If any of this sounds familiar, read on…

How Spinach works 🥬 Before standup Spinach reminds you to prep in Slack. Each person enters their updates in Spinach.

Writing helps you articulate thoughts more clearly, saving time during the meeting.

Jira integration allows you to link your updates to specific Jira tasks

🥬 During standup Spinach rotates through each person so there’s no fumbling with “who goes next”

You can see each person’s update and how long they’ve been speaking

Have something to discuss? Don’t interrupt! Add it to Team Topics and Spinach will bring it up at the end to keep things moving.

🥬 After standup Spinach keeps a summary and automatically posts it to Slack. You’ll have a record of all of your previous standups in the app.

🥬 Async friendly If you can’t join, your update can still be “in the meeting”. Or the team can skip the meeting altogether and just post updates directly to Slack.

How to try it Try: Go to Spinach.io and try it for yourself. No demos. No credit cards.

Share: Let us know what you think! Have friends who run standup? Please tell them they can get time back every day with Spinach.io

Save: Free forever for one team
