Sabrent宣布，推出Rocket 4 Plus G系列SSD，包括了1TB、2TB和4TB容量，并提供了适配的散热器。Sabrent表示，该款SSD将针对微软DirectStorage技术优化，为玩家带来最好的游戏体验。
Rocket 4 Plus G系列SSD提供了超过7GB/s的数据传输速度，搭载了3D TLC NAND闪存，采用了Sabrent最先进的O2固件，专门为游戏进行优化，具有快速的响应速度，以及最高达到4TB的存储空间，其表现不会玩家失望。
DirectStorage让NVMe SSD绕过CPU和内存，直接向显存传输数据，可大幅降低游戏加载的时间，并解决一些材质加载错误的问题，理论上采用了该技术的游戏可以做到场景的无缝接合。Windows 11内置了最新的存储优化技术，加上DirectStorage技术，可以发挥主机的全部潜力。
微软在2020年9月宣布DirectStorage将进驻Windows，随后在开发者预览版期间收集反馈，并向合作伙伴提供DirectStorage API，以便用在游戏上。到了今年3月，微软宣布Windows游戏已支持DirectStorage。公开的SDK版将允许开发人员更充分地利用最新款存储设备的性能，提高PC游戏的加载速度。
Rocket 4 Plus G系列SSD目前已开始接受预订，1TB、2TB和4TB容量售价分别为169.99美元（约合人民币1151.38元）、299.99美元（约合人民币2031.89元）和699.99美元（约合人民币4741.17元），适配的散热器价格为29.99美元（约合人民币203.13元）。
