据国家互联网信息办公室消息， 截至2021年底，我国已建成142.5万个5G基站，总量占全球60%以上，5G用户数达到3.55亿户。
全国超300个城市启动千兆光纤宽带网络建设，千兆用户规模达3456万户。
农村和城市实现“同网同速”，行政村、脱贫村通宽带率达100%，行政村通光纤、通4G比例均超过99%。
启动建设多条东数西算干线光缆，在用数据中心机架总规模超过500万标准机架，服务器规模约2000万台，算力规模超过150EFlops。
7月30日，工信部副部长张云明在2022中国算力大会上表示，我国算力基础设施持续夯实，已建成全球最大规模光纤和移动通信网络，算力产业规模快速增长，近五年平均增速超过30%，算力规模排名全球第二。
