在新能源汽车领域，氢燃料电池一直不温不火，丰田推广多年但收效甚微，高成本、安全性等依然是外界的担忧。
不过，这并不代表氢燃料电池作为新能源的一种发展方向，就没有用武之地了。
日前，微软表示，他们已经成功部署了一套3兆瓦的氢燃料电池系统，作为数据中心的应急供电源 。测试显示，这套系统可以在模拟断电长达数小时的条件下，支撑其数据中心稳定可靠运行。
据悉，测试电池被安装在两个40英尺的集装箱中，每个集装箱内有18套125kW的燃料电池。
