7月24日，中国空间站“问天”实验舱成功发射，而护送它进入太空的，是我国近地轨道运载能力最大的运载火箭——长征五号B。
运载火箭的核心技术是发动机，是技术含量最高、难度最大的部件之一。昵称“胖五”的长征五号，采用了液氢液氧、液氧煤油作为燃料，这也是当今世界航天发射的主流技术。
今天， 央视就专门揭秘了发动机研制的背后故事。
据航天科技集团六院西发公司型号系列总工艺师张和平介绍， 长征五号用了八台120吨液氧煤油发动机，其中有30多种新材料，典型的就是燃烧部分用的高温合金。
