联发科用上Intel全新16nm代工 台积电回应：不影响合作

众所周知，Intel去年宣布重返晶圆代工市场，成立了IFS部门想要跟台积电、三星抢市场，今天联发科就宣布跟Intel达成了合作，用上了后者的16nm工艺来代工部分芯片。
考虑到是台积电的主要客户之一，此举被视为联发科也寻找了备胎，要将代工订单转移到别的公司，业界预期台积电会是受影响最大的。
台积电公司今天没有正面回应联发科与Intel的合作，
只是强调联发科是台积电的长期客户，并且在先进制程上有紧密的伙伴关系，不会因此影响双方的业务往来。
根据联发科与Intel合作的细节，Intel还为联发科专门开发出全新的“Intel 16”工艺， 也就是Intel 16nm ，基于22nm FFL改进而来，这是一款非常成熟的工艺了。
