三星推出第二代Smart SSD，数据处理效率大幅提升
近日，三星宣布推出用于服务器和数据中心的第二代智能固态硬盘（Smart SSD）。与常规固态硬盘相比，处理时间缩短了50%，能耗降低了70%，CPU利用率降低了97%。
三星在2020年与AMD合作开始研发Smart SSD。第一代Smart SSD已经投入使用，因其出色的性能和能效，获得了CES 2021创新奖。
与常规SSD不同，Smart SSD内置了数据处理功能，因此数据不需要频繁地传输到CPU、显卡和内存上，减少了性能占用，CPU和显卡有更多时间执行其他任务，整套系统的性能和效率得以提高。
AMD相关人士表示， Smart SSD 已被证明是提高数据中心性能和效率的好方法。三星还与存储网络行业协会合作，同时开发Smart SSD，以便与生态系统中的设备配合使用。
三星电子执行副总裁表示，随着第二代Smart SSD的升级，三星将能够轻松满足数据库和视频转码领域不断增长的客户需求，下一代存储市场已经形成良好态势。
