This is a great tool, especially for people who are new to AWS, and find it's interface confusing. How much does this service cost monthly?
@sid_nuthi thanks so much for the feedback! This is extremely helpful. What are the most confusing parts? What did you expect to see but couldn't find / do? Re pricing, the standard plan is 50$ per user per month
@igorzij I mostly work with lambda and serverless API's, and I feel as though it would be helpful if you could create lambda functions straight out of the box as a built-in template instead of having to create a new terraform to create lambda functions. I would like to also see an s3 console of sorts, so users can se what is inside of their s3 buckets without having to go back to the AWS console. I feel as though this is a great idea, but legacy members of AWS would have a harder time switching as they have gotten so used to the console/cli that AWS has provided. I feel as though this would be better targeted towards people who are newer to AWS, as the console/cli is extremely confusing, and this would help greatly. As this product would most likely be used by newbees, it would dramatically improve user experience if you were to add features in which the IDE would 1) Autocorrect/Autofill and 2) Highlight missing or incorrect information before launch (for example, if the user forgets to specify a container_port for a docker module, the ide would mark that entire as red, and when hovered it will display the error that the container_port hasn't been set). I have been using AWS for 2 years now, and have still got a lot to learn. I would gladly switch over to this service if these features are introduced. The only other problem I have with this tool is the price. 50$/person per month seems a bit excessive looking from the outside, and this can quickly turn many newbees away, as well as people who would gladly use the service for its convenience (like me). As great as the service is, I would not pay 50$ a month for the convenience. This is a great product with great potential, and I wish you all the best in your launch journey ;)
@sid_nuthi thanks so much Sidarth this is such a cool perspective and extremely helpful!!

Hi Makers and Hunters! We couldn't be more excited to share Terrabook with you today

At Digger our mission is to make cloud simple for everyone. We strongly believe that dealing with AWS should not require studying documentation for days. The tools should help us, not make things harder.

Now, there is such thing as Terraform which every DevOps engineer uses. It is basically a programming language to describe infrastructure. In itself it is easy; but you need to be an AWS expert to use it.

Terrabook allows you to build your stack without any knowledge of AWS or Terraform! It is similar to Replit, but for infrastructure. Or maybe Google Colab for Terraform :)

✅ Just start with a pre-built template - Terrabook will add a snippet automatically ✅ Modify configuration as you like - Terraform is easy to understand when it's already there ✅ Mix and match different blocks, rearrange, or even write completely custom code ✅ Deploy to AWS in one click, just connect your account

Give it a try and let us know what you think!

@igorzij Great work! This tool will come in handy for anyone using AWS. The pre-built templates are an added advantage. Congratulations on the launch!

Looks interesting! Would definitely recommend it to my friends who use AWS!

Great job! Congratulations on the launch!🎉
