据中时新闻网等多家台媒报道，知名艺人林志颖7月22日上午传出在桃园芦竹驾驶特斯拉电动车撞击电线杆起火，林志颖父子骨折逃生，目前消防人员已经将其紧急送医，但伤势还不明。
台媒援引桃园当地消防人员消息表示，22日上午10时51分接获报案，疑似车辆自撞电线杆起火燃烧。桃园当地警方则表示，详细事故原因仍需调查。
