Client Snapshot: One of North America’s largest and most respected engineering and construction organizations.
A Keyhole Principal Consultant interacted with and supported three concurrent teams on a regular basis.
- As a part of the Cloud Platform team, he performed architectural assessments, created design documents, created landscape diagrams, and helped support Azure resource requests and production issues.
- The consultant supported the needs of the Power Engineering team in Azure by utilizing Azure Data Factory, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, and Azure Search. The consultant developed several functions in both Python and C# and aided in the implementation of Azure DevOps for CI/CD and SCM.
- In addition, a Keyhole consultant assisted another group with a large-scale database migration from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2017 and helped to tune and modify the applications running on this database. By leveraging CTE, Sets, and DMVs, he also worked to successfully increase the performance of the roughly 10,000 SQL objects (views and stored procedures) that the applications interact with.
