Deliveries of smartphones and other devices to Russia by the Chinese manufacturer Huawei have resumed. Izvestia was notified on Wednesday, July 13 by a source close to the organization, a partner of multiple electronics manufacturers. The insider stated that “new deliveries are truly on the way.”

On the same day, Mobile Research Group’s top analyst Eldar Murtazin posted in his Telegram channel that deliveries to Russia had resumed. He stated that Huawei products are available through partners and on the corporate website within two weeks. Meanwhile, Huawei’s spokesman declined to comment on the circumstance.

The business had already announced the closing of its official stores in Russia at the beginning of June. Only four of the Huawei’s 19 Russian outlets initially halted operations. This choice was justified by the absence of Chinese brand electronics and related spare parts in Russian warehouses.

Huawei has begun shipping smartphones and other electronic devices to Russia

Izvestia was specifically informed that the major issue is a shortage of batteries and screens; all other spare parts must be ordered. Authorized firm dealers had identical responses.

Meanwhile, smartphone vendors claim that there is a major increase in demand for Chinese electronics manufacturers’ products including Huawei on the Russian market. In the present, these goods account for two thirds of the Russian market.

Experts claim that the growth of Chinese devices is occurring in opposition to the stoppage of sales of Apple and Samsung technology to Russia; whose shares in the “smart” phone market have significantly fallen.
