Pick Up Pots and Pans at the All-Clad Factory Seconds Sale

If you don't mind a dented box or cosmetic flaw, these deals are worth checking out before they expire tomorrow.

All-Clad cookware comes highly recommended by WIRED reviewers and culinary experts. Composed largely of stainless steel, the company's pots, pans, and other kitchenware is both durable and reliable. Factor in the lifetime warranty that applies to most of the lineup, and it's easy to see why people consider the investment worthwhile.

That investment is usually quite hefty, but right now the All-Clad Factory Seconds Sale offers up to 50 percent off a wide variety of imperfect (but still functional) cookware. This event comes around only a few times per year. The deals are slated to run through July 13—just like Amazon Prime Day and its many competing sales.

You'll need to enter your email address to access the deals. Keep in mind that all sales are final. Flat-rate shipping costs $8, and items ship in 10 to 15 business days.

What Are Factory Seconds?

The Factory Seconds Sale is run by Home and Cook Sales, an authorized reseller for All-Clad and several other cookware brands. The items featured in the sale (usually) have minor imperfections, like a scuff on the pan, a misaligned name stamp, or, in some cases, merely a dented box. Every product on the website has details about the imperfection.

While the blemishes may vary, the merchant says that all of the cookware will perform as intended. Should any issue arise, nearly every All-Clad Factory Seconds product is still backed by All-Clad's limited lifetime warranty. (Electric items have a slightly different warranty. Check individual product pages for details.) I have used a dozen Factory Seconds pots and pans, and they've all worked exactly as advertised. Just remember that all sales are final.

Below, we've highlighted noteworthy discounts from the broader sale. The “before” prices are based on items in new condition. Check out our related buying guides, including the Best Chef's Knives and the Best Multicookers, for additional recommendations and advice.

This pan lives up to its name. We recommend it in our guide to the only pots and pans you need in your kitchen. Its shape allows for sautéing, frying, saucing, and even baking. It's safe for both the oven and dishwasher. The listing says this pan is second quality (which means a physical imperfection). A smaller size is available with packaging damage for the same price.

My household grills outside frequently, and this pan has been a staple since it first arrived. Little holes in the bottom make it good for evenly grilling or smoking delicate or finicky items like asparagus, fruit, or fish. I like the handles, which are big enough that I can carry the basket inside without worrying about spills or burns. The listing notes packaging damage.

Every All-Clad frying pan I've tried has been shallower and wider than other brands' pans. The shape is unique, with softly curved sides that make it easy to whip up a pan sauce or flip food over with a spatula. The 8-inch size linked here is a good one to get if you're unsure. The listing notes second quality, so there's a physical blemish of some kind.

Electric countertop griddles are an abomination. They take up so much space! All so we can make pancakes in bigger batches? Enough. Pop this square griddle on your stovetop and it'll do the same thing as the behemoth electric version currently taking up an entire shelf of your cupboard. Aside from making pancakes, griddles like this are also great for grilled cheese sandwiches. The listing notes packaging damage.
