据报道，苹果将会在耳机中增加一个背景音系统，以通过自动调整音量来确保用户能够听到周围重要的声音，像是紧急警报和汽车鸣笛等，该举措可避免用户在路上或者是嘈杂的环境中发生意外。背景音系统能够通过用户手机或 Apple Watch 收集的 GPS 数据和其他传感器参数，确定用户行进方向和速度，从而调整相对应的左耳或右耳耳机的音量。
