6月24日消息，今日，新东方创始人俞敏洪在“老俞闲话”公众号上表示，“大家都在说，新东方这次翻身了，俞敏洪翻身了。
其实根本就没有翻身这一说，新东方从来就没倒下过。
”
“新东方只是暂时遇到了困难，我们的精气神从来没有失去过。我们从第一天就在想怎么自救，怎么开辟新的赛道，怎么利用现有资源去做能够做的事情。并不存在倒下再翻身，摧毁又雄起的逆转。”俞敏洪说。
谈到东方甄选的爆红，俞敏洪直言： “有点像火山爆发，是破坏性的，但也是建设性的。”
数据显示，6月16日下午，东方甄选直播间粉丝数突破千万大关。 6月以来，直播间销售总额更是超2亿，日销量从75万到6257万，仅用了10天不到。
