LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Fork LineageOS is LineageOS with additional features such as volte icon, faceunlock, extended screenshot etc. maintained by HyperTeam

All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

I installed it and did some basic testing today. Here's what's working:-
1. All connectivity related things were working. VOLTE also works. I've tried calling and browsing at the same time.
2. No volume related bugs. Media volume and headphones works. Loudspeaker also works perfectly fine.
3. Security is also upto date. June month.
4. New power shut-off toggles.
5. Brightness, auto rotate, flash etc work great.
6. I haven't tested battery as it was just temporary test nor have I installed Google Playstore.
7. Call receiving and calling works great.
8. Offline charging also works.
9. Camera also works.

Some things were lacking.
1. Related to volte, there was no Volte icon even after volte toggle ON. Could have been implemented.
2. No rapid charge support. I tried charging and in 20 min 12% charged.
3. Only 6 CPU cores active. This causes lags is most apps. Also no CPU Hotplug option in kernel auditor after ROOT. Due to 6 cores phone tends to throttle and heat up a bit too much.
4. No face unlock like in previous lineage OS 17.1

i just put the new update for both model it is ForkLineageOS with some changes and it have more feature like face unlock, app lock, etc you can flash it over old build if you use nikgapps no need to re flash it

Thanks. Will try. But could you do something about CPU cores? Only 6 cores working and like I mentioned before that it causes heating up. If all cores were working.... It would be perfect for daily driver.

I have installed this ROM on my device, all actions I do is pretty responsive. But there is a problem. When I speed up video (YouTube, NewPipe, or VLC) beyond 1.3x the video frame rate drops and the audio crackling/clipping too. Nor removing or installing "Audio Compatibility Patch, Audio Modification Library, Viper4AndroidFX" Magisk Module fixes that very problem. Bumping up the CPU frequency using kernel editor app also have the same outcome. Is there any fixes that I could do? By the way, Thanks for keeping this phone up to date Dev

1. I will see what i can do, but our soc is too old maybe can't fix
2. Try disable msm core control our device use it for control cpu frequency

I have tried it but the problem still persist. By the way I formated the /data partition to ext3, could this be the cause?

New updated rom was flashed and tested on ZOOLD. All CPU cores now working fine. VOLTE logo now appears. Charging speed seems a bit improved. New GCAM added alongside stock rom camera app. Time is fixed.
Face ID is still broken. It never prompts during unlock. I have to rely on pin. But that's not as much as any problem as this phone never came out with face unlock.
Everything else is great. I'd say its a stable rom. Could add something like Digital Wellbeing in later updates. Not really necessary. Thanks once again Devs
