Ticking Play Services in DenyList doesn't persist after reboot. Any idea why that might be happening?

I wish I had the time to flash different ROM every week like I did 10 years ago, but with 2 kids thats become an impossible task
hence me asking here - I am currently using Mi11 with Android 11 (xiaomi.eu ROM with magisk root) and think its finally time to upgrade to Android 12
just dont know which of the several A12 AOSP ROMs to choose from since none of them really have detailed feature list

I need an everyday stable ROM that supports fingerprint reader, NFC, Android Auto, gcam (with support for selfie, 0.6x and main camera), banking apps and possibly root thru magisk
I want to picke one AOSP ROM and stick with it, instead of flashing other ROMs to compare them

Everything needed works with a bunch of features.

Hello there, couple questions for those who installed this ROM on their Mi 11. I would really appreciate it if anyone could answer these honestly ^^


- Do you know what "niche feature" got lost switching from MIUI? (like floating windows and such) And did you get any neat new ones?

- Can you still customize the AOD?

- Photo quality compared to MIUI 12/13 camera?

- Is it possible to have the quick settings panel transparent instead of the ugly unicolor from default A12?

- Does the ROM support live caption from a language other than English? (like translate Japanese live to English)

- How do haptic and sound feels like to you?

- Battery life? Better than MIUI/Xiaomi.eu?

- User experience / Game speed? Is everything fluid?

And finally, is updating only through fastboot / is the ROM often updated?
