How to Implement Google Map Widget in Android

In this video, we will be taking a look at How we can implement google maps in our android application.

Google Maps is used in most of the applications for displaying locations on maps which includes markers as well as paths from one location to another. We can get to see markers, polylines in the form of routes between two locations as well as polygons on our google maps. Google maps are seen in the applications such as Swiggy, OLA, and others.

Along with implementing the google map widget, we will be also displaying a search bar in our google map with which users can provide the name of the location to add a marker on it. We will be also displaying a polyline between three locations as Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Along with polyline we will be also displaying polygon between these three locations. We will be using an Android studio as an IDE for building this project and we will be using java as a programming language.

This project will surely help beginner to intermediate-level Android developers to brush up and enhance their Android development skills.
