I don’t think the 15 inch MacBook Air will see the light of day, just because the MacBook Air has only come in 13 inches.

But there was that internal email discovered awhile ago where Steve Jobs was at least thinking about a 15 inch MacBook Air - probably around the time the original one came out in 2008.

If we were to see one it would probably be at least $1200.

It is absolutely, 100% GUARANTEED that we'll get one next week. and probably even 16" or l7". And they'll price it at $799.

I have nursed my 13" Air along for 11, 12 years, awaiting a larger Air laptop to replace it, based on so many promises. Last fall I gave up, and bought a 16" MBP as my laptop, totally overpowered for what I use a laptop for.
So the new Air will be here, next week. (I have to admit, though, that this 16" mini-LED screen is SO nice, I'll think twice about trading it in for the new Air).

Also, what in the... where do you go about? Not even a rumor. Hopefully it's sarcasm.

It makes sense from a consumer perspective to have a 15 inch Air. The current 16 MBP is too heavy and most people like myself just want a large laptop without the need of extra horsepower. M1 is already more than good enough for what I do, I just want a larger screen.

I see the 15 air coming. Most likely at the end of the year.

I just wish they'd improve the bezel to screen ration to allow for a 14" screen without needing to increase the size of the laptop too much. Should be standard.

Have you seen the bezels on the current MBA? They are already thin.

Actually that's a good point. I'd be happy for them to increase the size of the laptop slightly to accomodate a 14" screen if bezels can't get smaller!

Which I doubt they will as it will break the whole "Air" concept Apple has built around it.
