援引新视线消息，Soul CTO陶明在回答“元宇宙”缘何会突然热度蹿升时认为，主要是两大因素在助推，一是互联网增长到一个体量，需要寻找下一个经济增长点;二是疫情触发了大家对在线的、虚拟的业务模式或业务扩展的思考。与此同时，近些年众多公司在区块链、视觉图形学、数字孪生等业务和技术上的发展，也使得大家有条件大胆设想元宇宙的形态。正是基于以上因素，元宇宙从去年以来的热度居高不下。
