SAP on IBM i: IBM i 7.5 certified for SAP Solutions
In this update for SAP on IBM i, we would like to inform you that SAP Solutions on IBM i are certified for IBM i 7.5 since Monday, May 30th, 2022. This certification is valid for SAP NetWeaver 7.x and SAP Business Suite solutions based on SAP NetWeaver 7.x that have been in Mainstream Maintenance or Extended Maintenance at the beginning of 2022 (see https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/pam and Release, Upgrade & Maintenance Info | SAP Support Portal for details). For additional information please refer to SAP Notes 3152440 and 68440.
IBM i 7.5 has been announced by IBM on May 3rd, 2022 and is generally available since May 10th, 2022. For details about this release we would like to point you to the recent posting in the TechChannel “You and i blog” (see TechChannel You and i blog: Announcing IBM i 7.5, 7.4 TR6, IBM i Merlin) and the official IBM United States Software Announcement 222-078.
