Hackerforms
Transform your Python scripts into beautiful form-like apps
Build and launch an form-like app with just a few lines of python. Code as you would in the terminal and ship it as an online web-app with auth, db, scheduling and more.
Hackerforms is great for automations such as finance ops as customer service.
Dear fellow makers,
I’m thrilled to announce HackerForms . The easiest and fastest way to ship form-like apps using Python
# But why the heck would anybody care? Perhaps your company has processes being executed by python programmers because there’s no time to build an interface for that.
Or maybe you just need a form, but no form-builder allows you to get alternatives from API requests or interact with your database.
You could solve that using Flask/Django, but this would require knowledge of HTML/HTTP/deployment which means stealing precious time from your developers.
I have what you need If you answered ‘yes’ and banged your head on the table while reading what I just described, you’re in the right place!
HackerForms is very simple. You code input/output as you would with terminal prints/gets (that’s what programming was supposed to be about anyway) and … thats it.
You get a sleek application interface, deployed online, even protected by authentication, if you’d like.
@pedro_masid thank you! ❤️
By the way, we plan to launch an integration soon with our nocode tool so you can design custom pages and import them on your apps
@andriosrr thank you! 🎉
We do care a lot about simplicity and we are happy to know we are communicating it well!
Potentially one of the most important new forms products on the market today. The team has taken the limited form experience one can find in Google Colab and made it probably the most powerful forms product on the market today.
So excited to see this product's trajectory! And be a user as well!
@amulya_parmar1 thank you! 💡
We are super excited to bring the power of python to to the realm of forms! Haha
@zayd_simjee Thank you! 😄
We currently have our open-source lib (pip install hackerforms).
We don't have yet a version of our server open-source, but we are working on it
@aleattorium thank you! 👀
Super curious to hear your impressions!
