Hey guys thanks for your patience! The new updates will arrive on your phones shortly! The changelog is big this time but I shall try to keep it short. I would really like to thank everyone that donated and supported me in getting a server to build your favourite ROM. However i would also like to thank all the testers for taking time off their busy schedules and testing out the major update.

NOTE: These builds might need a clean flash to work optimally!

Hey!

Installed Derpfest today on my OP9Pro since i hated the ColorOS so much...

My first impressions are really good!

I had a small hiccup in the beginning with my sim didnt want to "load", after an reboot it worked perfectly.
Had som minor stutters in apps like Instagram and Gmail, with @FJB_LetsGoBrandan_FJB fix (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...cial-lemonade-lemonadep.4395911/post-86376201) it seem to disappear.

Cant say anything about batterytime yet, but well see!

The only negative is that you cant use 100% of your camera.

looking forward to camera port!
Really recommend this rom if youre looking for an replacement from the **** OP released.
Wait is someone doing the port?? That would be amazing

@pranavasri is into it. He is stuck for sometime. A team of devs if unite will do wonders in no time.

how should I test it? I used usb-c to 3.5 mm audio and listened to music on the OP9pro with this rom and arter97 kernel. all seems to be working fine.

I did notice that if I was in silent mode (with the slider on top) that the music was muted. I solved it by manually kicking the mute-off for media. This seems like a small bug

Also, on the arter97 kernel - had to try it as it seems this was legendary on the OP7. Must say I'm impressed by now: feels even snapier then before. hope to see better SOT time also.

Will post an update after some days of use.

Also also, I tried the crDroid (I'm so furious about OS12 that I had to try everything) and must say Derpfest just feels smoother, cleaner and more refined in general. I didn't notice any crucial differences in features but the fact that pixel apps and google apps are already baked in just make it feel easier smoother and overall better imho. Though crDroid is faster in updates but 1m cadence is enough - better then OnePlus anyway

Stock has an option to allow you to choose whether the media volume gets muted with silent mode or not. Maybe this ROM does too

I wan to say that I have been daily driving this ROM for around a month now and I'm very satisified with it. I enjoy the customization and the stability of this ROM. Overall I can say that my battery life is pretty nice, I can get around 5 hours of SOT.

The issues that I currently still experience are:
- Fast wireless charging is not working. But now I can leave my phone on my wireless charger without having to fear that it keeps topping off at 100% which is actually kinda nice
- I have a wallpaper that changes based on Day/Night, but for instance the settings/gmail app don't update on this unless I close/re-open the app (not re-launching but actually closing it). That might also just be an android 12 thing and not really related to this ROM. Apps like Tasker do automatically update well.
- I know it has been said 100 times before but it would be cool if the Oxygen OS cam was ported but I guess that's not as easy as it sounds.

Issues which I had in the previous build (wifi/nfc) are fixed with an OTA update which worked flawlessly. Looking forward to future builds! Thank you very much for your effort
