This is the conference of the SIAM Activity Group on Analysis of Partial Differential Equations.

This conference is held in cooperation with GAMM (Representative - Dorothee Knees, Universität Kassel, Germany).

The primary goal of this conference is to bring together scientists and mathematicians working in partial differential equations and related fields. Contemporary challenges raised by recent advances in engineering, industry, and bio-technology will be confronted with state-of-the-art mathematical and computational tools in PDEs. Some of the topics covered in this meeting can be found in the list of themes. Advanced graduate students and young researchers are encouraged to participate. Limited funding is available for graduate students and recent PhDs.

Included Themes

Included Themes
  • Conservation laws
  • Control and optimization
  • Coupled multi-physics PDE systems
  • Fluid dynamics
  • Geometric PDEs and optimal transport
  • Kinetic theory
  • Mathematical physics
  • Multiscale analysis
  • Nonlinear waves
  • Nonlocal PDEs
  • Numerical analysis of PDEs
  • PDEs in biological and complex systems
  • Stochastic PDEs
  • Variational methods
