mlterm-fb 与 fbterm 的比较

mlterm-fb 是跟 fbterm 类似，是 linux 下支持中文的基于 framebuffer 的终端模拟器，基于使用体验对它们做一下比较。

fbterm > mlterm-fb

  • fbterm

    相对比较成熟，网上相关资料比较丰富。

  • mlterm-fb

    很不成熟，网上相关资料很少。

显示稳定性

fbterm > mlterm-fb

  • fbterm

    界面很少出现坏块。

  • mlterm-fb

    从其它 TTY 切回来后显示黑屏，需要手工刷新一次屏幕。

    界面经常出现坏块，光标处文字容易显示错位。

    有可能是我的 mlterm-fb 配置问题引起，跟 fbterm 开启 ambiguous-wide=yes 配置项后遇到特殊字符（Unicode 图标）时出现的问题比较类似。

fbterm > mlterm-fb

  • fbterm

    重绘快速，应该是采用 Double-Buffer 的结果。

  • mlterm-fb

    重绘很慢，应该是没有采用 Double-Buffer 的结果。

字体显示效果

mlterm-fb > fbterm

  • fbterm

    需要谨慎选择及微调字体，显示效果一般。

  • mlterm-fb

    开箱即用，显示效果好。

fbterm > mlterm-fb
