Learn from a world-class speaker line-up at #mtpcon SF+Americas

BY Emily Tate and Louron Pratt ON APRIL 25, 2022

We’re delighted to be bringing our flagship conference, #mtpcon, back to San Francisco next month. After a three year hiatus of in-person events in the US, #mtpcon SF+Americas will be our first hybrid conference experience in San Francisco, bringing two days of online and in-person product management content to a local and global audience.

Over the two days, we’ll dive into the most current and impactful topics with some truly inspiring product visionaries, bringing a wealth of experience from leading, internationally recognised organisations. Our audience will experience invaluable insights and actionable takeaways from multiple high-profile keynote talks and interactive multi-track breakout sessions.

Here are just a few of the amazing product leaders who will be joining us on the stage at #mtpcon SF+Americas and what you can expect to learn from them:

Ben Newell – VP of Product at StitchFix

We’re excited to have Ben Newell, VP of Product for Stitch Fix’s B2B Services on the #mtpcon keynote stage during day two. He is a product leader with 20+ years of experience in building mobile consumer applications in both large corporate environments and startups.

Ben brings with him his expertise in developing product vision, innovating at scale, and ensuring teams can ship product to market. He is a passionate believer in the principles of product discovery and is active in the global community.

In his session, Ben will be speaking about bringing joy back to work and into product practices, so expect to come away with key insights into communication and collaboration in product teams.

Scott Williamson – Former CPO at GitLab

Product Advisor, Scott Williamson, is an expert in helping tech companies grow their product through their high-growth stage. We’re thrilled to invite him to share his expertise during his digital keynote on day one of #mtpcon. We will learn about the signs of working in a bad product organisation, and what you can do to change it.

Our audience can look forward to gaining insights from Scott, who was most recently Chief Product Officer for GitLab, where he led a team of 65 in Product Management, Product Operations, Growth, Pricing and Corporate Development functions.

Shyvee Shi – Product Manager at LinkedIn Learning

Perfecting the art of prioritisation is a key asset to a product manager’s craft. We are therefore looking forward to having Shyvee Shi, Product Manager at Linkedin Learning, speak at a digital breakout session on day one this year. She’ll bring her expert knowledge of leadership, career knowledge, and personal mentoring experience to people who attend her talk.

Her vast experience in helping hundreds of high-achieving individuals progress in their careers is certain to benefit those who tune in. Shyvee will also explain how to say no gracefully—an important lesson for anyone looking to excel in their product management career.

Phyllis Njorge – Product Manager at Redfin

We’re delighted to have Phyllis Njoroge, Product Manager at Redfin as a speaker for a digital breakout session during #mtpcon day one. She’s an inspiring speaker with some impressive academic accomplishments in Cognitive and Brain Sciences earned from Tufts University, and a Women’s Entrepreneurship certificate from Cornell University.

Whilst working as a product manager, Phyllis has experienced imposter syndrome. Over time, she has been able to overcome it and mentor employees who have lived similar experiences. We’re excited for our product community to learn more about this in her talk on how to best manage imposter syndrome while working in product.

Partho Ghosh – Senior Director of Product at Hootsuite

Partho Ghosh is an expert in customers, data, product leadership and product growth. With over a decade of working in B2B SaaS, eCommerce, product growth, and product marketing, we’re looking forward to welcoming him on the stage.
