New 7.1 release highlights
- wifi speed improvement
- it's now easier to install OpenBSD on Apple M1 computers and should be usable for day to day operations
- httpd supports serving pre-compressed gz static files to reduce bandwidth usage (we use it at the webzine)
- the graphics stack has been updated, giving better compatibility and performance
- you may need to force DPI setting if fonts are too big after the update
- CPU frequency set to maximum when not on battery (commit), automatic mode can't be used anymore when connected to power
- rcctl now has
ls rogueargument to show the daemons started that shouldn't - /etc/login.conf can now be configured by adding files to /etc/login.conf.d/
- xbox one controller works out of the box
- many performance improvements
