Compare election candidates easily, directly & without bias
Bias. Misinformation. Attack ads. Debates that devolve into shouting matches. Politics has become so divided and negative, especially on the internet.
I’ve thought a lot about these issues for a long time. Several years ago, I was working in a digital marketing agency when an older gentleman came to us because he was running for city council and he knew he needed a good digital strategy. We helped him make a website, produce videos and manage his social media accounts.
One day he emails me and he says 'Hey Matt, I was in the local paper this morning, see if you can use that.' And the local paper had surveyed each candidate on a few key issues, and displayed their answers on a grid, side by side.
And I asked myself - why isn’t this everywhere? And that day I came up with the idea for Platformative.
My hope is that Platformative can help educate voters, reduce partisanship, and remind people that it isn’t “us versus them”; it’s just “us.”
