虚拟社交平台“Rec Room”每月有 300 万活跃 VR 用户

速途元宇宙研究院4月15日讯 近日，有媒体报道称，VR社交平台Rec Room的月活跃VR用户已达到300万，远高于大约一年前的100万。由于该平台还支持PC、主机和智能手机等非VR设备，该公司表示这只是其总月活的一小部分。
该公司的合作伙伴负责人Shawn Whiting证实，该平台是在“假期后不久”达到300万月活跃VR用户的。虽然假期肯定提供了推动力，但此后可能已经稳定下来，但这一数字是该公司去年假期前后每月100万活跃VR用户的三倍。
Rec Room表示：“我们对VR的增长感到非常满意，但目前VR在我们月活跃玩家中的占比非常低。Rec Room在iOS、Android、PlayStation和Xbox上的增长速度要快得多，因为这些设备总数达十亿台。”
