Ubuntu母公司Canonical官网博客发布公告，鉴于俄罗斯的战争行为， Canonical向所有俄罗斯企业发去通告，终止提供支持和专业服务，以及停止渠道合作。

Canonical 同时表示不会限制俄罗斯的 Ubuntu 用户获得安全补丁，因为像 Ubuntu、VPN 技术和 Tor 等自由软件对于获取新闻和寻求对话的人来说非常重要。这部分俄罗斯区域订阅费所得的收入将用于乌克兰的人道主义事业。

此外Canonical积极关注受战争影响的公司同事，最大程度地支持他们的安全。
