据悉，俞敏洪在其个人公众号“老俞闲话”发表文章，自称或已成为“走向下一个阶段的障碍。”俞敏洪在文中称，“迄今为止，整整三十年，我每周平均至少有四十个小时，花在了新东方的业务上。我一直怀疑，我自以为为了新东方鞠躬尽瘁的努力，其实可能适得其反，已经成为新东方走向下一个阶段的障碍。如果因为牵挂名利、一叶障目，人生真的就得不偿失了，而错失过去的，永远不会再回来。”
