BYD vehicle users told Chinese media outlet ITHome on Thursday that the automaker has temporarily suspended its in-car camera feature Qianliyan. BYD explained that it was upgrading the feature to comply with China’s new privacy rules that visual data containing sensitive information cannot be transferred out of the vehicle.
