印度国会议员Sushil Kumar Modi敦促印度财政部长Nirmala Sitharaman考虑将加密货币收入的资本利得税提高到30%以上。Modi表示，加密货币的复合年增长率（CAGR）如此之高，以至于投资者被其利润所吸引。“比特币的CAGR是115%，而以太坊CAGR是30%。对于真正从加密货币中获得收益的人，30%的（税收）不会对他们产生任何影响。”
