Governance framework

Kubernetes Governance refers to the ability of the operations team to verify and enforce certain policies and standards across the entire organization or within specific clusters or for some entities. It is important for any organization to establish a governance framework to be able to move fast and at the same time minimize risk, control costs and drive efficiency, transparency, and accountability across the organization.

In this webinar, we will go through a real example of how we implemented a simple governance framework within Magalix using our own product.  We will focus on a simple policy and go through its full life cycle.  The same process could be applied to other policies and you can easily extrapolate from this example to meet your own specific needs.

Expect to learn:

  • What is governance and why it is important?
  • How to establish your own governance framework?
  • How to write a basic Rego policy?
  • How to create custom advisors using Magalix KubeAdvisor?
  • Automating the enforcement of your policies through your development and deployment lifecycle.
