汇聚上联模式是产品型号以“T”或“DT”结尾的非网管交换机的一种工作模式。这类交换机壳体上有模式切换开关，如下：
汇聚上联模式下提供具有两个Uplink（上联）端口。Uplink端口用于连接上级交换机或服务器，Uplink端口关闭流控，其他端口协商开启流控，有效提高无盘启动速度，保障网游、视频流畅。
端口汇聚是网管交换机的功能，是将交换机的多个物理端口汇聚为一个逻辑端口，从而实现端口速率叠加和冗余备份。
通过以上对比，交换机的汇聚上联模式不是端口汇聚，汇聚上联模式下的Uplink口不能连接到同一个交换机或者服务器，否则会形成环路。
