RSK Brings NFTs to the Bitcoin Blockchain

The Rootstock (RSK) smart contract enables smart contracts on the Bitcoin network. The RSK and the RSK Infrastructure Framework (RIF), a third-layer protocol upon Bitcoin, were used to mint NFTs through Carnaval - an open-source platform for smart contracts and decentralized apps. The Rootstock network uses Bitcoin’s network security by combining mining operations. RIF offers RSK-based decentralized protocols and services. Using RIF’s marketplace engine, Carnaval has dramatically shortened its launch of decentralized markets on the Bitcoin network.

The artist’s work is pushed front and centre by bringing famous art industry participants into the fold.
