动态108M功能设计的目的是为了兼容普通的802.11B和802.11G产品在一起使用，可以满足网络中的11M、54M和108M同时接入，动态108M模式的工作原理是在54M和108M模式中切换，但这种切换是内部的，外部无法表现，在网卡的配置软件上，我们看到的连接速率将始终是54M。另外如果您的环境中存在着固定接入的普通的802.11B和802.11G产品的话，是不能切换到108M模式的，这种情况下，我们建议您使用54M模式。
如果您的环境都是108M的网卡，但是少数情况下可能存在客户携带笔记本（普通无线网卡）需接入到您的公司网络时，那么可以使用动态108M模式。
反之，静态108M就是固定工作在108M模式，只有支持108M模式的网卡才可以连接，而其他普通的802.11B和802.11G产品是无法连接的，不过这种模式对信号强度和质量的要求也比较高。
