Windows 98操作系统，最近新安装了一块网卡，安装后发现计算机启动的速度慢了很多，不知为什么?如何解决？
这是一个典型的IP地址分配问题，因为安装网卡的缺省设置是自动获取IP地址，这样每次启动计算机时，计算机都会主动搜索当前网络中的DHCP服务器，以获取服务器分配的IP地址，如果没有DHCP服务器，那么直到发生网络超时，系统才会放弃搜索进入到“桌面”，所以计算机启动的速度会大大降低。解决的方法是打开“控制面板”中的“网络”选项，在配置中打开协议TCP/IP的属性配置，在“IP地址”的选项卡中选择“指定IP地址”，然后输入用户定义的IP地址，如“192.168.1.2”，子网掩码为“255.255.255.0”，确定后重新启动计算机，您就会发现计算机的启动速度大大加快。
