Photography is an exciting but challenging industry to get into. An internship is an excellent way to understand how the lessons in school apply in the real world. As a novice photographer, you can gain precious field experience that makes it easier for you to enter the industry. As an intern, you’ll have a deep understanding of assisting and being a photographer. You’ll learn a lot about photography, how a photography studio works, and the business side of things. You’ll also be able to quote appropriately while most photography graduates undervalue their work.

    Lee Jeffries is an accountant living in Manchester who is also a passionate self-taught photographer. Thanks to his liaisons in the footballing world, he had started out covering sporting events. But his perception of photography changed drastically after an unexpected meeting with a homeless girl. He has been capturing portraits of homeless people in Europe and the US ever since. He has successfully raised awareness about and funds for the homeless thanks to his black-and-white portrait photos.

    Marina Cano graduated as a musician, although she had been clicking photographs from her teenage days. She found her calling in photography after going along with her father when he went for photography trips to Africa. She grew as a wildlife photographer by clicking vivid pictures of animals at Cabárceno Wildlife Park in Cantabria, home to more than 100 animal species.     Hailing from a low-lying and flat country, the Dutch landscape photographer first came across mountains during a visit to the Swiss highlands when he was five. He started clicking pictures in the mountains when he visited them once between studies, aged 18. He has been bewitched by mountains ever since. His pictures often depict mountains as heavenly and pristine structures that belong in a dream. Photography became his purpose behind scaling the beautiful mountains in Argentina, Chile, Greenland, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden. In 2017, he won the awards for the International Landscape Photographer of the Year and the International Landscape Photograph of the Year within four years of becoming a professional photographer.
