AMD 第一款采用 3D 缓存技术的芯片 5800X3D 也是第一款不支持超频的 Ryzen 处理器。5800X3D 将在 4 月 20 日上市，售价 449 美元，AMD 称它是当前性能最强的游戏 CPU。AMD 技术营销总监 Robert Hallock 称 5800X3D 的电压被锁定在 1.35 伏。低电压意味着会产生更少的热量，原因可能是 3D 缓存技术增加的 64MB L3 缓存产生了更多的热余量。Hallock 表示，未来采用 3D 缓存技术的 CPU 不会限制超频。AMD 的 CPU 一般不会锁定频率，而英特尔 CPU 如果要超频的话则需要购买更昂贵的 K 系列处理器和 Z 系列主板。
